What I did on Ykoa
Role : Game Designer | Level Designer | Programmer
- Programmed the grab/hold core mechanic and interactions with environment (Trees, plants, apples…)
- Scripted an interactive subtitled ‘dialog’ system ( Scripted appearance of various UI text dialog on screen when player has done a specific thing )
- Cared a lot about introduction to the valley ( Wide view at first )
- Did a lot of 3D low poly modeling ( Created all the assets except water )
- Did use Unity’s Animator to script 3D mesh movement
- Created a working Day/Night cycle
